Our Brisbane acupuncture clinics can help with labour induction at the end of your pregnancy.  The acupuncture treatment stimulates the release of the hormone oxytocin and decreases the release of stress hormones which can inhibit labour.  Creating this balance of hormones helps bring on the natural labour process.  The acupuncture also relaxes tight muscles of the back, hip and pelvic area.  This allows the baby to drop lower and fully engage.  These muscles are under a great deal of strain during the delivery so relaxing any tightness in advance can reduce the pain levels experienced and the delivery time.
