Acupuncture is generally considered to be safe when performed by a registered practitioner, under the rules of the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
At TLC Acupuncture Brisbane, our clinics are kept clean and our sterilization procedures are followed to the letter and audited regularly.
Rest assured TLC Acupuncture Brisbane maintains the highest level of hygiene standards and only uses high quality single use sterile needles. These needles are opened during the acupuncture session, they are not reused and are properly disposed of after each treatment.
Unfortunately there have been issues in the past with some acupuncturists out there operating without proper qualifications. The laws and legislation in Queensland have changed in regards to who can practice. In July 2012 a government body was appointed to license and monitor all acupuncture health practitioners. All our acupuncturists have met the required qualifications for these laws are registered members of an acupuncture medical association. But we don’t stop there, in order to be the best we need to know far more then the knowledge we gained from university so we have created a continual ongoing learning program for all our practitioners.
At the TLC Acupuncture Brisbane we strive to achieve the best results for you and your health.
Your well-being is important to us. That's why our practitioners have been hand picked to create a team of highly motivated, passionate people who are dedicated to getting the best outcome for you and your family.
Second best is not good enough. We aim to be the best in the business and to do our very best for each patient we treat.
