Can acupuncture treat tendonitis?

Tendonitis is a condition we see regularly within our clinics.  Acupuncture may be used to reduce or resolve tendonitis. (1, 2, 3).  Practitioners at our Brisbane acupuncture clinics have advanced training in treatments designed to reduce swelling and alleviating pain.

What causes tendonitis?

Tendinitis simply means inflammation of one or more tendons in relation to damage.  This damage to the muscle fibers and tendons could have occurred in many different ways such as overstraining, trauma or disease.
