Dr Elisa Jansen

Elisa Jansen is a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been with TLC Acupuncture Brisbane since 2013 and prior to this she worked from a home based clinic as well as a professional acupuncture fertility clinic.  She has obtained a Masters of Applied Science in Acupuncture at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) after completing a Bachelor of Biological Science at Deakin University and a Diploma of Applied Science in Laboratory Technologies at Gordon College.  She has since completed additional studies and training in the area of fertility, female health and pregnancy care.

Elisa can treat a wide range of symptoms however her real passion lies in fertility and pregnancy care.  This includes women’s health in total, regulating hormones and menstruation, easing menopausal symptoms, infertility, pregnancy related symptoms, IVF and IUI support, birthing preparation, labour induction and post pregnancy care.

With strong roots in medical science, Elisa was initially drawn to the field of acupuncture after being referred to an acupuncturist for pain.  Impressed by Chinese medicine’s organic and holistic approach to health care,  Elisa was eager to learn more about the field.  Now with a more balanced view and years of training, she is able to integrate both eastern and western medical knowledge to support the health and wellbeing of her clients.  It is the many positive outcomes that she has witnessed in her clients  that provide Elisa’s inspiration, gratitude and drive to continue helping others.
