Dr Johnson Su

Dr Johnson Su is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese medicine registered for both acupuncture and Chinese medicine herbalism with over 10 years of clinic experience. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Health Science (TCM) from New Zealand and a Bachelor of Medicine from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.  Over the years, Johnson has trained in both countries and attended advanced acupuncture seminars, including Zhu Scalp Acupuncture in China and Australia, and Dr Tan’s Balance Method.

In 2025, Johnson and his family moved to beautiful, sunny Brisbane, and he is excited to bring his skills and experience to the local community.

Johnson mainly focuses on:

• Internal diseases and chronic health problems
• Neurological conditions such as facial paralysis and stroke recovery
• Mental health support for stress, anxiety, and depression
• Sleep problems including insomnia
• Pain and injury management

His treatments combine the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine with modern, practical methods, aiming to help patients feel better, recover faster, and improve their overall quality of life.

Johnson’s journey into Chinese medicine began after he experienced viral facial paralysis years ago. Acupuncture was the only therapy that helped him recover, and that life-changing experience inspired him to dedicate himself to helping others in the same way.

Since then, he has trained extensively, practiced across different settings, and continued learning through advanced systems like Zhu Scalp Acupuncture and Dr Tan’s Balance Method. His goal is to provide effective, results-oriented treatment, address the root cause of health concerns, and support patients in returning to a balanced, healthy life.
