Soo Hyun Song (pronounced Sue) had been with TLC Acupuncture clinic since 2017, prior to this she practiced in Sydney for approximately 7 years. Soo (Sue) has obtained a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology in Sydney which includes both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Following on from this Soo completed an internship at the highly reputably Traditional Korean Medicine Clinic in Korea as well as completing additional studies and seminars in the area of mental health, women’s health and fertility, and gastrointestinal health.
Soo can treat a wide range of symptoms however her passion lies in the area of mental health. This includes panic attack, anxiety, depression, stress, post traumatic stress disorder and insomnia. She also has special interests in female health including menstrual problem and PCOS, and fertility, IVF/ IUI support, morning sickness and labour inductions. In addition to this, she has a wealth of experience in treating digestive system conditions and is expanding her knowledge in the area of kidney health.
Soo Hyun Song speaks fluent English and Korean.
Being born and growing up in Korea, Soo Hyun witnessed the effectiveness of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine as a much valued therapy throughout her life. She has always had compassion towards people struggling with their mental and physical health. The values instilled in Soo by her upbringing made Soo want to become a health practitioner. She believes that nothing is more fulfilling then helping people to lead healthier and happier lives.
