Dr Meiyu Liu

Dr Meiyu Liu (Pronounce May- Yoo) is an AHPRA-registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner with a passion for combining traditional Chinese medicine with a strong understanding of modern healthcare.

Meiyu graduated from Western Sydney University with a degree in Chinese Medicine and further enhanced her clinical training through a placement at Nanjing University in China. This experience provided valuable insight into the practical application of Traditional Chinese Medicine within a busy clinical environment.

In addition to her Chinese Medicine qualifications, Meiyu is an experienced Critical Care Nurse with over 15 years of experience working in tertiary hospitals across Australia. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Critical Care Nursing, bringing a unique perspective that combines extensive healthcare knowledge with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr Meiyu treats a wide range of conditions, with particular interest in:

• Women’s health, infertility and IVF support 
• Pregnancy and postnatal support.

Meiyu is also passionate about cosmetic acupuncture helping patients achieve their natural skin health goals through holistic and non-invasive treatments.

With a strong foundation in Western medicine, Meiyu developed a growing interest in holistic and preventative approaches to healthcare. Her transition into Chinese Medicine was driven by a desire to support patients more comprehensively with
traditional healing principles.
