Can Acupuncture treat neck pain?

Muscular pain is the condition we see the most of in our clinics.   Acupuncture may help with relieving or reducing neck pain and tension (1, 2).

What causes neck tension and pain?

Neck pain and stiffness can occur for a variety of reasons.  Some of the more common causes include injury, tension from stress, muscle spasm, poor muscle tone, poor health, clenching of the jaw, misalignment of the spine, arthritis, and whiplash.

How can acupuncture help?

At TLC Acupuncture Clinic our practitioners have received training in advanced techniques that help to relieve or greatly reduce pain.   We address neck pain complaints by focusing on reducing muscular tension, increasing cervical spine joint and muscle mobility, removing/reducing inflammation and increasing cellular growth and repair.  We also look at all the contributing factors to your neck complaint such as stress or poor ergonomics and include treatment and advice for these factors.
