Areas of special interest
Dr Wang’s journey into medicine began with a long-standing dream to become a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, influenced by his upbringing in China and early exposure to traditional healing practices.
He commenced his studies at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he developed a strong theoretical foundation in classical Chinese medicine. He later continued his training in Australia, where hands-on clinical experience deepened his appreciation for the effectiveness and relevance of acupuncture in modern healthcare.
This combination of Eastern and Western training has shaped Dr Wang’s clinical perspective and strengthened his commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality care.
Journey into Acupuncture
Dr Wang has a particular clinical interest in supporting the Spleen and Stomach systems, recognising their essential role in digestion, energy production, and overall wellbeing within Traditional Chinese Medicine.
He is especially interested in classical medical texts, including the Shang Han Lun and Jin Gui Yao Lue, and integrates their diagnostic frameworks and treatment principles into his clinical practice.
By combining classical knowledge with modern clinical application, Dr Wang aims to provide precise, individualised treatments that support long-term health and balance.
