About
Dr Laura Chapman is a CMBA/AHPRA registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner and AHPRA Registered Nurse with nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare field. She started her journey in pathology after attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science and has been nursing since 2005. Laura also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and has worked in various settings, including perioperative, anaesthetic recovery, aged care, paediatric, cardiothoracic, disability, and medical/surgical specialties. She completed her Master’s degree in Acupuncture at RMIT and has joined TLC Acupuncture Clinic in 2024, prior to which she ran her own mobile acupuncture practice.
Laura has also completed studies in reflexology and massage which she uses alongside her acupuncture treatments.

Journey into Acupuncture
Laura was drawn to Chinese Medicine after experiencing its profound impact on her own health and that of her four children. Wanting to learn the techniques behind acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, she pursued formal studies and completed her Master’s degree in Acupuncture. Laura is passionate about helping people achieve optimal health and well-being through a holistic approach. Her unique blend of Western and Eastern medical knowledge allows her to provide comprehensive and individualized care to her patients.
